Tanabe 1200 Retrofitted by JD ERSX solution

We are proud to present a fully refurbished Tanabe folding-gluing machine with a working width of 1200 mm. This machine has been overhauled and upgraded, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Key Features and Upgrades:

  • JD ERSX Machine Control System The heart of the upgrade: our Energy Reducing Safety Extension (ERSX). It includes remote operation, light curtains, area scanners, jam detection, conveyor flow control, and three intuitive touchscreens. Together, these upgrades guarantee precision, operator safety, and seamless integration with today’s production demands.

  • Advanced Glue Systems Equipped with a 12-connection glue bridge and electrical outputs for cold glue heads. Standard delivery includes a complete HHS cold glue system with 4 glue heads and pump. Expansion with additional cold glue heads or integration of hotmelt systems is available on request.

  • Feeder Section A servo-driven JD ERSX Feeder Unit, offering smooth stream/timed feeding. Includes shutter control and full operator interface with emergency stops, jog, buzzer, and run functions – ensuring stability right from the start of the process.

  • Folding Sections (A-Unit, B-Unit, Final Fold) Each folding unit has been carefully refurbished and enhanced with auto-set frames, adjustment motors, pneumatic frame controls, multicolor LED status lights, and alarm buzzers. Servo-driven backfolding hook systems and folding belt regulation provide accurate, high-speed performance even in demanding runs

  • Trombone Section Featuring auto-set frames, adjustment motors, touchscreen operation, and advanced controls, this section ensures perfect synchronization and flexibility during production.

  • Press Band Fully upgraded with modern operator controls, and alarm buzzers, delivering consistent finishing pressure and stable output.

  • Complete Overhaul and Exterior Restoration The entire machine has undergone a thorough inspection and refurbishment. Critical components were repaired or replaced, and the machine was completely blasted and repainted in RAL 7032 – giving it a durable, professional appearance that matches its renewed performance.
